HDR is looking for a Pipelines and Pump Stations/ Condition Assessment Business Class Leader to join our Montana Water Business Group. The successful candidate will be involved with all aspects of our Water Business Group program and will collaborate with HDR staff across the company and teaming partners to develop solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

Actively lead our growing Montana pipelines and pump stations business class.

Collaborate with HDR technical leaders, operations leaders, market sector directors, project managers, and project teams to deliver world class quality services, project management services and construction services for projects and programs utilizing multiple delivery models.

Actively engage with the local project teams and assist in Go/No-Go discussions, project risk assessments, SOQs, proposals, interviews, and negotiations as required.

Participate in client relationship management, client presentations, conference presentations, and interviews.

Participate in scope, schedule, and budget development for projects.

Provide project delivery support including planning, contract administration and management, technical consulting, design reviews, subcontract management and construction services.

Mentor and develop other employees.

Serve as the area champion for identification and pursuit of condition assessment projects within the area.

Coordinate with area business development team regarding condition assessment pursuits.

Participate in technical practice and professional discipline groups, project teams and activities to continually improve standards and best practices.

Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or similar combination of relevant education and experience.

15 years of water industry experience.

Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.

Strong leadership skills and project management experience with multiple national remote teams.

Proven experience managing projects, client relationships, proposal development, and business development.

Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills.

Strong conceptual, organizational, problem solving, and collaboration skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and conferencing platforms (Zoom, WebEx, Teams, etc.).

Familiar with estimating and scheduling software, project management software.

Ability to interact with various design professionals; excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.

Spirit of using science and technology to improve reliability of buried infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.

10 years of experience.

Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values.

Maintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience.

Experienced in development and management of diverse teams.

Works cooperatively with other area business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts.

An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Stated compensation range: $120,000 - $168,000 (Montana).
