Night Owl Reconnaissance (NOR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to investigating missing persons cases, preventing disappearances, and providing support to those who have been recovered. Founded in 2019, NOR uses OSINT-driven investigative methods to assist in locating missing individuals while working to expand efforts in prevention and victim support. We recognize that people go missing for a variety of reasons, including child abduction, human trafficking, domestic violence, and unforeseen circumstances such as accidents or death. Our mission is to work alongside law enforcement and advocacy organizations to ensure the safety of those reported missing while respecting the autonomy of individuals who have chosen to leave unsafe environments. In cases of voluntary separation, we facilitate communication with law enforcement and offer support services where possible. Commitment

Our mission is to provide support, resources, and assistance to help bring missing individuals home safely. Night Owl Reconnaissance is committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by missing person incidents. Purpose of the Young Professionals Board Night Owl Reconnaissance is seeking highly motivated and visionary individuals who reside in the Greater St. Louis, MO area to serve as volunteer members of our Young Professionals Board. The Young Professionals Board members will serve as active participants in fundraising activities and event planning, and contribute expertise and insights to board discussions. Board members will use their diverse professional backgrounds to identify potential donors and supporters in an effort to further Night Owl Reconnaissance’s mission. The board is tasked with the below Fundraising and Resource Development
The Young Professionals Board spearheads fundraising efforts and initiatives to secure essential financial resources for Night Owl Reconnaissance. Through innovative strategies and collaborative partnerships, board members work diligently to raise funds that support the organization's programs and services. Community Engagement and Awareness
By leveraging their networks and expertise, board members actively engage with the community to raise awareness about missing person cases and the critical role of Night Owl Reconnaissance. Through advocacy, outreach, and educational initiatives, the board strives to mobilize support and foster a sense of solidarity within the community. Leadership and Advocacy
As emerging leaders in their respective fields, board members play a pivotal role in advocating for the needs and priorities of Night Owl Reconnaissance. Through strategic leadership and advocacy efforts, the board champions the organization's mission, values, and impact, amplifying its reach and influence within the community and beyond. Professionals Development and Networking
The Young Professionals Board provides a platform for members to enhance their leadership skills, expand their professional networks, and contribute to meaningful causes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience within the last 5-10 years. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage and inspire diverse stakeholders. Strong strategic planning and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and impact. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, fostering inclusivity, respect, and mutual support. Commitment to the mission and values of Night Owl Reconnaissance, with a passion for making a difference in the community. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects with efficiency and attention to detail. Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct. Commitment Membership Dues: A monthly donation that can be paid by or on behalf of the Young Professionals Board member. Time: Contribute up to 5 hours per week on average and up to 4 monthly meetings (1 in-person meeting and 3 virtual meetings).
