Program Manager
Within the College of Medicine's Office for Physician Scientist Education & Training (PSET) and under the general supervision of the Administrative Director for PSET, the Physician Scientist Development Program (PSDP)/R38 Program Manager is primarily responsible for providing administrative support for all education and training programs and initiatives that serve physician scientist residents and fellows. Provide administrative support to principal investigators and grant appointees in grant/contract administration, including pre-award proposal initiatives, post-award management and closeout activities for grant/contract sponsors. Secure required institutional approvals and monitor all documents and activities for compliance with regulations, terms, and conditions. Serve as the primary point of contact for data management, surveys, and reports for all PSET resident and fellow training programming. Initiate tailored curricula and activities. Responsible for program plans, events, registration, enrollment management, program evaluation, and data tracking. Serve as project manager and point‑of‑contact for signature large‑scale PSET events (e.g., site visits, celebrations, symposiums). Participate on the College of Medicine Trainee Research Day organizing committee. Work with all programs within PSET to improve collaboration, resource utilization, and efficiency to enhance the trainee and stakeholder experience. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education/experience. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in program planning and administration (including trainee data management), research education and training grant preparation, and proficiency with MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and general office software. Experience with RedCap, MS Project, SharePoint, and event planning desirable; organization and development of program materials and website content required. Successful background check; may be asked to complete a pre‑employment physical, including drug screening. Additional Information
