Overview
Within the College of Medicine's Office for Physician Scientist Education & Training (PSET) and under the general supervision of the Administrative Director for PSET, the Physician Scientist Development Program (PSDP)/R38 Program Manager provides administrative support for all education and training programs and initiatives that serve physician scientist residents and fellows. This role supports principal investigators and grant appointees in grant/contract administration, including pre-award proposals, post-award management and closeout activities. It ensures compliance with regulations, terms, and conditions, and serves as the primary contact for data management, surveys, and reports for PSET resident and fellow training programming. The role initiates tailored curricula and activities, manages program plans, events, registrations, enrollment, program evaluation, and data tracking. It serves as the project manager and primary point of contact for large-scale PSET events (e.g., site visits, celebrations, symposiums) and participates on the College of Medicine Trainee Research Day organizing committee. It collaborates with all programs within PSET to improve collaboration, resource utilization, and efficiency to enhance the trainee and stakeholder experience in the greater Ohio State physician scientist community. Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience. Minimum Experience Requirements
4 years of relevant experience required; experience in program planning and administration (including trainee data management) preferred. Experience in research education and training grant preparation desirable. Proficiency with standard office software (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Experience with RedCap, MS Project, and SharePoint desired. Experience in organization and development of program materials, website content, and event planning required. Requires successful completion of a background check; pre-employment physical and drug screen may be required. Additional Information
