Technical Business Analyst (Local Candidates to Wisconsin only)

Responsibilities
Lead and participate in teams representing business needs to technical staff and technology system capabilities.
Facilitate discussions among technical and business staff to clarify business rules, define system output, and design business and technology processes.
Analyze and document business rules, requirements, and system operations and procedures.
Develop technical specifications to meet business requirements.
Review existing and proposed rules, policies, and procedures for impact on current and proposed business processes; adjust or propose changes to maintain compliance.
Coordinate with department specialists to clarify, revise, develop, and implement process descriptions and functional specifications.
Document changes in operational manuals and assist in drafting new procedures and publications.
Track system problems and resolutions using ticketing and bug‑tracking systems; investigate and design solutions.
Plan and execute quality assurance efforts for business systems and processes; develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures.
Follow software development life cycle methodologies and QA processes.
Conduct component and system tests, analyze bugs and defects, recommend solutions, and provide feedback to teams.
Conduct user/system acceptance testing and document criteria.
Analyze business data integrity throughout the project.
Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of business and technical analysis: business process documentation, process design, requirements gathering, functional design.
Advanced knowledge of quality assurance and software testing methodologies.
Knowledge of project management principles, methods, and practices.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage executives and customers.
Highly self‑motivated, with strong prioritization and attention to detail.
Nice to Have Skills
ITIL 4 Foundation certification or similar.
CompTIA A+ certification or similar.
PMP certification or similar.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years of experience in business and technical analysis.
Minimum 8 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing.
Strong project management background.
Excellent communication with executives and diverse customers.
Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented execution of tasks.
