Overview We are seeking a Logistic Compliance Specialist to support import/export trade compliance and tariff-related activities. This role ensures processes align with U.S. laws and internal policies, while collaborating with Customs brokers, freight forwarders, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain HTS codes, country of origin, and apply U.S. Customs valuation methods.
Ensure compliance with CBP, ITAR, EAR, and other trade regulations.
Support Customs programs (Duty Drawback, Temporary Import Bonds) and ERP integration (SAP).
Assist with audits, reporting, SOPs, and training on import/export processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or equivalent experience.
5+ years in logistics/supply chain and 3+ years in trade compliance/international logistics.
Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classification, valuation, EAR/ITAR, and trade compliance programs.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and trade automation solutions.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred
Licensed U.S. Customs Broker
Experience with Duty Drawback, FTZs, or CTPAT
Background in aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries
