The company is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Charleston office and contribute to their regional growth. This is a full-time, mainly office-based role offering long-term stability, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to lead some of the region’s most significant commercial drywall projects. While the role is predominantly office-based, regular site visits will be required to monitor project progress and resolve issues. The team is collaborative, hands-on, and committed to performance and client satisfaction. Project Scope Includes
Interior Metal Stud Framing & Drywall Systems Acoustical Ceilings & Specialty Ceiling Systems Fire-Rated Assemblies & Shaft Wall Systems Exterior Sheathing & Insulation Pharmaceutical Cleanroom Systems Prefabrication & Modular Systems Rainscreen & Exterior Cladding Systems Maars Living Walls & Demountable Partitions Key Responsibilities
Manage commercial drywall projects from preconstruction through final closeout Coordinate with engineering, drafting, fabrication, procurement, and field teams Maintain and manage schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation Serve as primary point of contact with general contractors, architects, and owners Ensure timely material delivery, quality control, and field coordination Conduct regular site visits to monitor installation progress and resolve issues Collaborate with leadership on forecasting, risk management, and team performance Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing commercial drywall projects Strong knowledge of drywall systems, metal studs, and ceiling assemblies Proficient in reviewing construction documents, specs, and shop drawings Experience working with fabrication and field installation workflows Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project) Estimating experience or knowledge is a strong plus Compensation & Benefits
