Job Description PCI is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its PCI Columbus 582 operations based in Dublin, OH. This individual will manage construction projects focused on Metal Studs & Drywall, Acoustical Ceilings, and Exterior Systems and Claddings.

Direct and manage the construction activities of projects to maximize margin contribution results.

Estimate, bid, and secure construction projects of sufficient revenue and margin to meet the prescribed business plan.

Initiate and maintain customer contact to secure profitable execution of work.

Interpret and analyze contract documents regarding terms, specifications, clarifications, and requirements for each project.

Manage job site personnel to maintain effective relations with owners, engineers, utilities, subcontractors, contractors, and unions.

Implement the corporate program regarding loss control and claims management related to workers’ compensation.

Analyze and monitor actual versus estimated costs to develop action plans where unfavorable variances are detected and ensure an effective job control system is utilized on each project.

Effectively estimate the majority of work applicable to the region and solicit assistance from the estimating department when necessary to maximize bidding activity without sacrificing quality.

Negotiate contract issues, variances, and change orders; manage scope changes, claims, and other project issues as required.

This position is safety sensitive.

Basic Requirements

A minimum of 5–7 years of construction management work experience.

Experience in commercial construction.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work including Metal Stud Framing & Drywall, Acoustical Ceilings, and Exterior Systems and Cladding.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships.

High level of attention to detail and cost analysis.

Ability to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work.

Proficiency with computer takeoff and estimating software such as On‑Screen Takeoff and Quickbid.

Ability to juggle multiple projects and keep each on schedule ensuring all deadlines are met.

Ability to communicate well with employees at all levels of the company.

Must be flexible and enjoy working with a diverse group in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management.

Local to the Columbus metro area is preferred.
