Responsibilities
Greet and check-in patients with a warm, professional demeanor
Answer and manage incoming phone calls and patient messages efficiently
Handle patient registration and verify insurance information
Collect co-pays and process payments accurately
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
Monitor and manage provider schedules to ensure smooth clinic operations
Sort and distribute incoming faxes and documents appropriately
Maintain a clean, organized front office space
Provide exceptional service and support to patients and visitors
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
Previous experience in a medical front office setting
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude
Familiarity with EPIC is a plus
Customer service oriented with a commitment to patient care
Knowledge of insurance verification, benefits coordination, and the insurance authorization process
