Water Resources Project Manager
to join a collaborative civil engineering team in
Raleigh, NC . This firm has been transforming communities across the Southeast for decades — a place where long-term relationships, flexibility, and teamwork are at the heart of everything they do. You’ll join a supportive group that values balance, innovation, and integrity in every project. In this role, you’ll take the lead on hydrologic and hydraulic modeling efforts and guide projects from design through construction. Projects range from watershed studies and drainage improvements to riverine analyses, bridge and culvert replacements, and floodplain evaluations. You’ll also have the chance to mentor junior engineers and make a visible impact on local infrastructure. What You’ll Do
Lead hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, and similar platforms. Prepare engineering reports, cost estimates, and floodplain permitting documents (No-Rise, CLOMR/LOMR). Oversee plan preparation, construction documentation, and bidding support. Review permit submittals for local municipalities. Collaborate directly with clients and present project findings. Manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables while mentoring project teams. What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred). 7–12 years of water resources experience. NC PE or ability to obtain within 6 months. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and Bentley (Haestad) Suite. Experience with WaterGEMS and SewerGEMS a plus. Why You’ll Love It Here
