Join to apply for the Multi-Unit Team Leader role at H&R Block. You will provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, using your people management experience to guide customer-centric teams and accelerate seasonal tax business. Prior tax preparation experience is not required. This role is not remote and requires in-person work. You will start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season, transitioning to full-time from January to April, including evenings and weekends as needed. Responsibilities

Front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates and delivering an outstanding client experience across three tax offices. Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders. Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement. Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions. Conduct timely performance reviews and coordinate with the Associate Relations Center to resolve associate issues and address performance concerns. Build an engaging team environment across all offices through training and coaching, recognizing outstanding associate contributions. Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates. Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management for associates in all offices. Travel between offices as required. Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment. What you’ll bring to the team

Multi-unit people management experience in the retail, restaurant, banking, or related industries (preferred). Experience executing growth plans and leading a growth-oriented culture. Strong decision-making and judgment skills; ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a customer-centric mindset. Computer proficiency with MS Office. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Why work for us
