All positions start at an above market pay rate for that position. The Indirect and Capex Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing procurement activities related to indirect goods and services, as well as capital expenditures (Capex) for the Industrial Solutions organization. This role aims to optimize cost and support cost reduction targets, ensure supplier performance (on-time delivery and quality), and support strategic investment initiatives across the organization. This role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders (Finance, Engineering, Facilities, Operations) to ensure procurement decisions align with budget, compliance, and long-term business objectives. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with strong negotiation skills and proactive supplier relationship management. The position will begin at the BorgWarner Arden, NC facility and will transition to another facility in Western North Carolina, with the specific location to be finalized.
