IT Project Administrator
for a long-term contract opportunity in their Kansas City, MO office. The IT Project Administrator provides comprehensive project administration and IT solutions support to ensure the successful delivery of projects across the organization. The position combines financial oversight, project process development, IT solution implementation, and administrative leadership to streamline operations and support internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities
Project & Financial Administration Update annual rate sheets and assist with other financial documentation. Create, maintain, and process invoice information. Prepare and present budget estimates to Project Managers. Track and report project measures, compliance, and closeout requirements. Audit project and contract files to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies. Produce reports as requested by Project Managers and leadership. Process Development & Quality Control Develop, implement, and improve processes and procedures to enhance project administration efficiency. Lead QA/QC processes and obtain approval of project closeouts. Manage project closeout activities and ensure proper documentation and compliance. Enforce policies for document control, contract management, and compliance reporting. IT Solutions & Project Support Conduct site analyses to determine the feasibility of proposed IT solutions. Gather requirements from project teams and align them with appropriate IT services. Manage project documentation such as project plans, schedules, and scope statements. Monitor project progress and generate status reports for stakeholders. Schedule and facilitate stakeholder meetings, prepare agendas, and capture meeting minutes. Establish systematic methods to identify upcoming projects and corresponding IT requirements. Conduct periodic follow-ups on completed projects to assess the effectiveness of IT solutions. Maintain knowledge of IT policies and ensure all solutions adhere to organizational standards. Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 14 years’ experience OR an Associate’s Degree in a related field and 16 years’ experience OR a High School Diploma/GED and 17 years’ experience Position requires ability to work independently, demonstrating accuracy, reliability, organization and problem-solving skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint is required. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels within an organization.
