Position Overview And Responsibilities The

Security & Quality Assurance Associate

is responsible for the safety and security of the building and its occupants. The position monitors building status, serves as liaison between on‑site personnel and local response teams, and operates overnight (11 pm‑7:30 am) with weekend availability.

Uphold Sentral’s standards, best practices, policies, and procedures; deliver customer‑service excellence

Routinely patrol the property to prevent disturbances and resolve disputes

Maintain high visibility to prevent and detect intrusion

Secure common areas, stairwells, garage, exterior perimeter, gates, and service facilities at all times

Identify and issue violation notices for abandoned or improperly parked vehicles

Follow‑up and notify appropriate teams to confirm violations issued

Resolve security‑related issues promptly, involving law enforcement when necessary

Notify management of any instances involving law enforcement in a timely manner

Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency when appropriate

Cover the front desk during team members’ breaks and shift changes

Perform other related duties and assignments as needed and assigned

Skills And Experience

High School diploma or equivalent

Some college education preferred

1+ years of security experience

Security & Quality Assurance experience preferred

Guard Card Certification preferred

Exceptional customer service mindset

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Superior de‑escalation skills in challenging disagreements and intense situations

Strong organization skills

Adaptability to shifting priorities using strong judgment and decision‑making skills

Excellent time‑management skills with ability to multitask

Strong computer skills and familiarity with standard office equipment (internet, email, cell phone, desktop, laptop, printer, scanner, etc.)

Professional interaction with all levels of team members, leaders, and external stakeholders

Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, overnights, and weekends

Physical Requirements

Stand behind a desk for the majority of an 8‑hour shift

Move body in repetitive motions for extended periods

Work indoors and outdoors, with and without cover

Move throughout the property as needed

Transport boxes and equipment weighing up to 20 lb

Communicate with other persons in the building
