The Area Supervisor is part of Store Leadership responsible for a specific area of the store, opening and closing, supervising associates, maintaining presentation, and executing company processes. Key Responsibilities

Maintain safe & secure environments, including building security, EAS devices, cash office security, and emergency exits. Deliver customer service and demonstrate courtesy, friendliness, and professionalism. Represent and support the company brand at all times and maintain a professional appearance. Keep store areas clean, well‑maintained, and merchandised to standard, including daily trash removal. Ensure recovery, sizing, and markdowns are completed to company standards, and process all merchandise with urgency. Control front‑end operations, including cash registers, shortage control policies, and front‑end procedures. Execute loss prevention best practices, conduct package inspections, and safeguard confidential information. Administer payroll and daily scheduling, and perform bank deposits, cash pulls, and other administrative duties as assigned. Competencies

Excellent verbal communication skills. Fluency in English. Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred. Familiarity with point‑of‑sale equipment and applications. Basic mathematical calculations used in retail environments. Ability to work evenings and weekends. Physical Requirements/Ada

Use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs. Stand, walk, and move around the store up to 100 % of work time. Bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop regularly. Occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 lbs. Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other supplies. Stockroom associates can push, pull, and lift more than 20 lbs. EEO Statement
