Base pay range
$95,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
Are you ready to lead and inspire a team in ensuring top-notch equipment reliability and performance?
Our client is seeking a dynamic leader to oversee maintenance operations across their plant, ensuring optimal equipment uptime and performance. This pivotal role involves directing maintenance strategies, driving continuous improvements, and mentoring both management and frontline teams.
This role is based in the Southeast U.S. All candidates must be open to relocation.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, or Electrical field preferred
10 years of experience in maintenance operations
8-10 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Key Competencies
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, vacuum systems, and laser operations
Proficiency with CMMS systems (MAXIMO experience preferred)
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Working knowledge of LOTO procedures and 70E electrical safety standards
Familiarity with relevant building codes
Proven experience in manufacturing environments with complex equipment
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and related applications
Essential Responsibilities
Ensure facility performance standards for maximum equipment reliability and productivity
Lead maintenance strategy development and implementation across global satellite facilities; international travel 25‑50% required
Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability, packaging, and changeover efficiency
Develop and execute capital and technology implementation plans
Utilize visual management tools to optimize asset utilization and plant performance
Mentor and develop supervisory and technical personnel, enabling effective troubleshooting and repair of complex systems
Track and report key manufacturing and warehouse metrics; identify and prioritize improvement opportunities
Oversee manpower planning, cost management, waste reduction, and compliance with quality and safety standards
Manage P&L for maintenance‑related cost centers including labor, utilities, and capital improvement budgets
Perform other duties as assigned
Travel Requirements
10‑20% domestic and international travel
Additional travel may be required for training during plant startup
