Responsibilities
Attend the annual VCCS Student Leadership Conference. Assist with the annual graduation ceremony in May. Assist with New Student Orientation sessions. Participate in recruitment activities. Conduct college tours. Assist with Fall Bash and Spring Fling. Assist with monthly theme activities. Provide input to Student Health 101 pages and social media postings. Serve as a member of either PPAC or SAC. Travel to other campuses for events and drive state vehicles. Assist students with recreational equipment, wide screen TV, and games in the lounge. Assist with intramural programming (e.g., setting up games using college facilities; volleyball, flag football, horseshoes). Assist with movie nights. Consult the college and student event calendar when planning activities. Provide campus student event assistance under the direction of college staff. Special assignments: May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with college environment. Ability to use email and social networking to communicate. Good academic standing. Valid Virginia driver’s license. Currently enrolled at RCC.
