AAA-The Auto Club Group is seeking a Paralegal II to join their team. This role is Hybrid, with training occurring in office and 3 days Work From Home, 2 days in office after training.
The Paralegal II will perform a variety of intermediate to complex law-related tasks in support of legal matters, including conducting legal research, investigating issues, and drafting legal documents. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree as a paralegal and three years of experience in a position performing paralegal functions, or equivalent experience and education.
The Paralegal II will earn a competitive salary of $31 - $38 an hour with annual bonus potential based on performance, as well as excellent and comprehensive benefits packages, including 401k Match, Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and Paid Holidays.
Responsibilities:
Conducts legal research, investigate issues and drafts/prepare legal documents to support attorneys and contract administrators. Supports all aspects of document discovery, including e-discovery, document management, the litigation hold process, and document production. Assists counsel with the coordination of responses to subpoenas, demand letters, legal correspondence, and discovery demands. Manages daily activities of litigation support vendors and outside counsel. Calendars dates and monitors litigation activity and deadlines. Requirements:
Associate's degree as a paralegal and three years of experience in a position performing paralegal functions. Ability to obtain and maintain ABA approved Paralegal certification, or equivalent within timeline designated by management. Operating as a Paralegal or in a position performing paralegal functions, with experience researching and analyzing legal matters, case law, and regulations. Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law or a related field. Knowledge of regulatory matters, including filing reports with regulatory agencies principles, company procedures, and departmental functions.
