Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States.
Job Summary Responsible for the maintenance, repair and proper operation of hospital refrigeration, air conditioning, evaporative cooling, mechanical ventilation and associated equipment, including control work and computer design of air conditioning systems.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma
Five years of experience in building management system (BMS) controls
South Carolina Journeyman heating and A/C certification or equivalent
Associate’s degree in HVAC (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate of training in air conditioning
License/Registration/Certifications in HVAC (preferred)
Core Responsibilities
Make quick and clear decisions related to equipment maintenance.
Stand, walk, stoop, bend, lift and move equipment for many hours.
Perform analytical diagnosis on malfunctioning equipment.
Perform mechanical repair using correct tools and procedures.
Conduct planned maintenance on all mechanical equipment.
