Lovely Tribeca based family seeks a warm, friendly, confident, and proactive live-out nanny to provide care for their baby and toddler (toddler enrolled in pre-school 5 days a week.) This position is Monday – Friday, 40+ hours a week – 7:30am – 5:30pm with flexibility. The ideal candidate understands developmental milestones, is attentive, detail-oriented, caring, energetic, and adaptable to the ever-changing needs of the family and children. The candidate must have longevity in at least on past position, 4-5+ years with a previous family. This position requires someone passionate about the care and upbringing of the children, with an eye for their safety, education, and well-being. The candidate must be communicative, adaptable, and easily able to follow direction and instructions. Full health benefits, 401k, and annual performance-based bonus is included, along with overtime pay. Driver’s license is a plus! Requirements: Strong command of English language; excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 7+ years of experience in a similar position; a background in child education is a PLUS Excellent references required from both current and previous employers Must have exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities with prioritization and efficiency Positive, friendly, and professional in both mindset and manner with the use of utmost discretion at all times Flexible and adaptable, willing to adhere to children’s schedules and protocol as set by the family Ability to work both independently and as part of a team 4-5+ years in at least one previous role with a family Flexibility in schedule with the willingness to work longer hours as needed Legally able to work in the United States Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting in the daily care, safety, nurturing, feeding and supervision of one child Willingness to help with occasional care and tasks for an older and more independent child when needed Must strive to ensure a creative and supportive environment for the home Adhere to protocol and guidelines as set by the family and schedules Coordinating daily activities and supervising transportation to and from all engagements (camps, playdates, appointments, classes, activities, etc.) Provide a safe and clean environment for the children; light housekeeping for the children only, including tidying up, laundry, cleaning up after meals, etc. Preparation of light and healthy meals for the children only Communicate with the principals easily and effectively to ensure transparency, relay all relevant child-related information and details, any urgent needs or changes, etc. Engage in fun activities including swimming, games, adventures, etc. with the children Assisting with packing and unpacking for trips and vacations Additional Nanny responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the Principals Compensation: $100,000-$401,000 per year
