Provide relief and overflow support across multiple practice groups in one of the largest firms in HTX. Assist attorneys with litigation support, document preparation, electronic filing, scheduling, and daily administrative workflow to ensure efficient case management and client service.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, format, cite-check, and proofread pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and correspondence E-file documents in state and federal courts, maintaining strict compliance with court rules and deadlines Manage attorney calendars, including hearings, depositions, client meetings, and trial schedules Coordinate communication with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal legal teams with professionalism and discretion Prepare and organize trial binders, document sets, and case materials Handle scheduling of depositions, conference calls, and on-site/off-site meetings, and arrange travel logistics Maintain accurate document and email organization within the firm’s document management system Enter attorney time in Aderant and process expense reports, vendor invoices, and billing correspondence Provide flexible support to reception and administrative services during peak workload periods Skills
