BWC is seeking an Administrative Professional 4 to support the Cleveland Claim Director in budget monitoring, communications, SharePoint maintenance, and office requisitions.
Responsibilities
Acts as liaison for the Cleveland Claim Director.
Writes communications to staff implementing directives from the Claim Director and verbally interacts with other BWC senior management on behalf of the Claim Director.
Serves as the service office budget liaison and monitors spending within the office, maintaining fiscal records.
Assures that expenses do not exceed allotted moneys by comparing Service Office expenditures to the agency's Fiscal Department printout and verifies accuracy.
Analyzes information for backlogs, inaccuracies, and production comparison, and communicates findings orally and in writing to the Claim Director, making recommendations.
Maintains the service office SharePoint site and acts as a resource for statewide service office SharePoint sites.
Coordinates all requisitions of office equipment and other supplies (e.g., phone charges, seminars, reimbursements).
Qualifications
30 months experience or 30 months training in the secretarial/administrative professional field.
Or completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from an accredited career school or community college; 12 months experience in the secretarial/administrative professional field.
Or 12 months experience as an Administrative Professional 2, 16872.
Or equivalent of the Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

Ability to deal with a variety of information in somewhat unfamiliar contexts; define problems related to claims management; interpret, collect data & draw valid conclusions; calculate fractions, decimals & percentages for payroll purposes & budget expenditures; complete agency requisitions; prepare status reports; discuss business matters with management level staff; write correspondence & reports; assess questions & provide appropriate referrals or information; assume temporary responsibility for clerical staff; prepare confidential memos, telephone techniques, typing, filing.
