Position Details Lehman College of The City University of New York is a four‑year Hispanic‑Serving Institution in the Bronx that offers bachelor’s, master’s, and advanced degrees and certificates. The College serves a diverse enrollment of over 15,000 students on its 37‑acre campus and online.
Under the supervision of the Deputy Director of Enrollment Communications and Technology, the Administrative & Enrollment Coordinator will play a critical role in the daily operations of the Help Hub, assisting students in person and virtually during business hours. The Coordinator will also assist the Director with procurement and office management tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the office’s supply inventory and ensure adequate resources are available to staff.
Submit requisitions for office purchase orders, including supplies, computers, and software subscriptions.
Assist with the collection of necessary purchasing documents in accordance with procurement requirements, including contacting vendors for quotes, invoices, and receipts.
Collaborate with the Purchasing Department’s sub‑units and other offices within the Division of Enrollment Management to support various procurement objectives.
Serve as a liaison between the Office of Enrollment Communications and Technology and other administrative departments to expedite and efficiently process work requests, key requests, and other office needs.
Assist the Director in maintaining and updating the office website and online staff directory to ensure information is accurate and current.
Provide direct student services and collaborate with other units to support advisement, registration, payment, and related activities.
Address general Admissions and Financial Aid questions as well as assist in the uploading and submission of documents.
Offer responsive, needs‑based assistance to students.
Help students make meaningful connections to campus resources and services.
Report any student concerns or program issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions in EAB Navigate.
Manage and update service availability in EAB Navigate, including scheduling appointments for in‑person, phone, and online support.
Attend all required meetings and training sessions.
Perform other office duties as assigned by the Director.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Excellent communication and technology skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Flexible, independent, and a strong team player who delivers exceptional customer service.
Knowledge of the enrollment process and familiarity with CUNY technologies, including CUNYfirst, CUNYBuy, Schedule Builder, and EAB Navigate.
Experience managing staff and schedules is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Navigate, and Schedule Builder.
Experience managing a staff and schedule.
General knowledge of enrollment process and CUNY systems.
Strong interest in or experience working with students.
Motivated, responsible, and hardworking team player willing to learn.
Compensation and Benefits Salary commensurate with education and experience.
$50,500
base salary. CUNY benefits include competitive health plans, retirement/pension benefits, tuition waivers for CUNY graduate study, generous paid time off, and access to extensive academic, arts, and athletic programs.
