Office Services Specialist/Field Support Specialist (On Call) Reports To:

The Office Services Specialist (On Call) reports to the Client Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, Human Resources, or equivalent leadership. Job Overview: The Office Services Specialist (On Call) provides exceptional office and mail services in a “floating” capacity for positions where regular employees are out of the office or when projects require additional coverage. The role includes duties across mail, reception, hospitality, facilities, copy/print, or similar office services functions. This position is based at a specific client home office and may be sent to different client sites on short notice. Flexibility and adaptability are essential. The role continually delivers high-level service to all client and SPS employees while maintaining a professional image of the company through prompt, courteous, and efficient service. Responsibilities

Provide 5-star customer service to all employees in all forms of communication. Answer calls and greet visitors to ensure an exceptional experience. Assist with light facilities duties, including troubleshooting tickets, ordering supplies, and stocking kitchens/service areas. Receive inbound mail/packages, sort mail, and input into chain-of-custody software; manage outgoing mail/packages. Perform shipping/receiving duties and notify employees of inbound deliveries. Distribute mail/packages to personnel and assist with office moves. Assist with copy/print orders and monitor equipment for functionality. Set up/take down conference rooms for meetings/events as needed. Proactively seek additional work during downtime and build professional relationships with customers and teams. Maintain professionalism and composure in interactions with employees. Train backups and provide guidance on policies and procedures. Assess and determine additional support needs when handling sensitive inquiries. Provide reception or front-of-office coverage as needed. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Demonstrate good organizational skills and working knowledge of multifunction device (MFD) equipment. Understand shipping/receiving procedures and be able to interpret instructions. Work independently and complete projects; determine appropriate packing methods and validate packing slips for incoming/outgoing materials. Accept flexible schedules and hours as required. Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School Diploma (or equivalent) required. 6+ months of prior work experience preferred. Ability to work assigned hours determined by the manager. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Analytical abilities and problem-solving aptitude. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Current knowledge or ability to learn computer-based systems relevant to the role. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude; adhere to all policies and procedures. Physical Demands

Approximately 50% of the time, the role requires physical activities such as grasping, lifting, and moving packages up to 60 lbs on a cart; walking, bending, kneeling, standing, or sitting for extended periods; operating office machinery; and lifting/moving 40 lbs or more frequently. Travel
