About The Role
As an Intake Specialist at SLP, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking legal support under California's Lemon Law. Your role is to provide an exceptional first impression of our firm - listening attentively, understanding each client's situation, and helping determine how we can best assist them. This position blends professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. You'll manage a steady flow of inbound inquiries from potential clients, ensuring that every person receives a responsive, informed, and compassionate experience. You'll guide clients through the initial intake process with confidence and clarity, setting the foundation for a strong attorney-client relationship. SLP's Intake Specialists are essential members of the client experience team. You'll collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure each case begins smoothly and clients feel confident in their decision to work with our firm. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, personable, and motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities
Convert inbound, high-intent leads into signed clients by guiding prospects with urgency and professionalism.
Consult with prospective clients to understand their situation, communicate case value, and build trust in our firm.
Follow up with warm leads through outbound calls, texts, and emails to maximize engagement.
Own the first impression: establish rapport quickly, manage objections, and move conversations toward engagement.
Leverage CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) to track leads, manage pipeline activity, and ensure accurate documentation.
Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth client handoff and an excellent client experience.
Contribute to firm-wide projects and non-sales initiatives that build leadership skills and industry exposure.
Maintain and exceed performance metrics, including conversion rate, response time, signed case goals, outbound activity expectations, and team contribution.
Use Spanish language skills (if applicable) to effectively engage with a broader client base.

Requirements
Prior sales or client-facing experience required (phone-based preferred; retail experience considered).
Proven ability to communicate effectively and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual (Spanish-English) highly preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.
Team player with a positive, proactive attitude and a desire to learn and grow.
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems; experience with Salesforce or similar CRMs a plus.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain resilient under pressure.
Legal industry experience helpful but not required—we provide comprehensive training.
