The Virga Law Firm, P.A. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our Pensacola location in a full-time, in-person role. As a Family Law Paralegal, you will support our attorneys and clients throughout the litigation process, contributing to outcomes in complex family law matters including divorces, child custody disputes, alimony determinations, and related cases requiring professional expertise and compassion. Responsibilities

Manage the entire family law process from intake through discovery and trial preparation. Assist attorneys with drafting pleadings and legal correspondence, and handle the collection and organization of discovery materials. Maintain meticulous case files, track deadlines, and communicate with clients to obtain necessary documents and information. Draft and file family law pleadings with precision; manage default proceedings including service verification. Prepare financial affidavits and child support calculations; coordinate court appearances and legal events. Develop case strategies for matters involving non-participating opposing parties. Prepare supporting documentation for claims related to alimony, child support, and attorney's fees; maintain accurate case calendars and e-file court documents. Qualifications

Minimum of one year of family law experience; demonstrated expertise in default proceedings and case management. Proficiency in preparing financial discovery and child support guideline worksheets; ability to calculate income for support purposes. Excellent organizational and documentation skills; strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple cases. Comprehensive knowledge of Florida family law and state-specific procedures. Proficiency with legal practice management software (e.g., Clio) and document management systems. Benefits
