Elkridge, MD 21075, USA We are seeking a licensed counselor or social worker to provide compassionate care to children, adolescents and adults. This role will collaborate with a team of highly trained professionals to support our patients as they navigate their journey towards recovery. A day hospital is an outpatient psychiatric program patients attend during weekdays, returning to the comfort of home in the evenings and on weekends. It is a less intensive level of care than inpatient but provides more support than a traditional outpatient setting. Many people we serve find that day hospital treatment is a helpful step down from inpatient care before returning to daily life or that it is an effective intensity of treatment to help avoid an inpatient stay. At a Sheppard Pratt Day Hospital, care consists of both individual and group treatment. The Day Hospitals are group-based programs. Patients attend multiple group therapeutic sessions throughout the day. Specific responsibilities will include: Providing
group therapy sessions
using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Offering
supportive counseling
and monitoring progress towards treatment goals. Collaborating with treatment team members
to communicate patient progress and contribute to treatment planning and aftercare planning processes. Participating in family meetings and collaborative care sessions as needed to

Masters or better. Lic Prof Clin Counselor Lic Cert Soc Wkr-Clinical The pay range for this position is $60,569.60- $105,414.40.
