Responsibilities
Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and image quality. Able to communicate exam details to patients and alleviate their anxiety. Understand patient positioning, imaging techniques, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control. Qualifications
Required: RO (State Radiography License)
and
ARRT-R
and
must obtain one of: ARRT-VI, ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV, or RCIS within 18 months of hire. OR ROT (Temporary State Radiography License)
and
must obtain ARRT-R before ROT expiration
and
must obtain one of: ARRT-VI, ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV, or RCIS within 18 months of hire. Desired: One year of interventional radiology experience.
