We are looking for a motivated

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

to join our outpatient physical therapy team in Mesa. This role is ideal for a collaborative professional who is passionate about patient care and committed to supporting Physical Therapists in delivering exceptional treatment. The PTA will assist with treatment plan implementation, ensure accurate documentation, and contribute to a safe, supportive, and high-quality clinical environment. Key Responsibilities

Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized plans of care. Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and families. Respond to patient inquiries and provide education to support optimal outcomes. Document patient progress and care in compliance with state practice act standards. Adhere to OSHA, infection control, and state regulations. Serve as an active member of the treatment team for assigned patients. Assist with training and mentoring Physical Therapy Technicians as needed. Ensure strict patient confidentiality. Education & Certification Requirements

Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program (required). Current Arizona PTA licensure/certification (or eligibility to obtain before start date). Experience

Minimum of

1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience

or equivalent required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, equipment, and treatment protocols. Proficiency in OSHA standards, infection control, and compliance policies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to recognize safety risks and respond appropriately. Competence with EMR systems and clinical documentation. Physical ability to assist patients, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform kneeling, squatting, and overhead lifting as required. Work Environment

Outpatient clinical setting with occasional community-based travel. Requires sitting, standing, and assisting patients with transfers and mobility. Why Join Us
