The role you’ll contribute : The Sonographer – Women's Specialty Care performs diagnostic sonographic imaging of fetal and maternal anatomy, urinary and gynecologic anatomy or any other diagnostic studies as deemed necessary by the physician for interpretation and/or intervention. This individual assists the Perinatologist, Urogyncologist and/or other physician specialist in patient care and procedures.

Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.

Assesses the patient’s physical condition and age specific needs.

Provides instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results.

Acquires patient’s clinical history and provide accurate documentation for invasive procedures.

Documents patient weight, blood pressure and other pertinent information depending on patient status.

Assesses sonographic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification, ensuring that all relative anatomy is demonstrated

Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

Associate

High School Grad or Equiv

3+ sonographer experience, and a documented track record of leadership experience.

Amer Reg Diag Med Sonography (ARDMS)

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
