Hourly rate starts at $31.00. $8,000 Hiring Bonus.

Opportunities available for all levels of experience,including new Licensed Practical Nurse grads! LPN Job Summary LPNs work under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON) and record all resident interactions to develop thorough documentation about their care. They help prepare residents for procedures and assist with routine recovery care after initial treatment. LPNs usually work with several residents at once and administer care according to a schedule, upholding medical routines and procedures.
Responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:
Monitorresident’s vitals and record them in their file
Maintainthe cleanliness and comfort of each resident, including bathing, feedingand dressing
Assistnursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administeringmedication
Updateresident records in a confidential manner
Evaluatethe resident’s wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff
Explaintreatments and procedures to resident and families
Changedressings and bandages, ensuring residents are healing properly
Moveresidents from wheelchairs, beds and gurneys
Requirements:
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Currently licensed as an LPN in Maine.
