We are seeking a full‑time skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our growing team. The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for maintenance and repair of a variety of vehicles and powerline equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other industrial equipment
Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts
Complete repairs such as brake jobs, shocks, struts, and equipment repairs
Perform heavy lifting and use tools to complete tasks
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot problems efficiently
Service technician duties including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
Requirements
2 years’ experience (required)
Minimum of a Class B CDL (required)
Prior experience as a Fleet Mechanic or in a similar role
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
Mechanical knowledge of tractor‑trailers, forklifts, and other fleet vehicles
Experience with dig operations is a plus
Familiarity with maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles
Must pass preemployment and random drug testing
Must pass preemployment background check
Must be willing to commute or relocate
Powerline Equipment
Pickups, 2‑ton trucks, Digger Derricks, Bucket Trucks, Trailers, Earth‑moving Equipment, Backhoes, Trenchers, Excavators, Pullers, Tensioners, Cranes, and Semis.
