Job Description SAC’s Fabrication team in Clearfield, UT is looking for a full-time Welder. This position will support our team by welding structural steel and pipe supports in both carbon and stainless steel. All applicants must have reliable means of transportation.
Typical Responsibilities
Fit up material in accordance to shop drawings, ensuring dimensions match and will function
Weld fit up material in accordance to welding code, produce a clean and accurate weld
Read blueprints of projects
Coordinate and communicate with teammates to delegate jobs and ensure team is on the same page
Coordinate structural jobs and track their completion according to due dates
Desired Skills & Experience
Must be able to lift 80lbs
3G open root plate test must be passed before an offer of employment can be made
Knowledge of AWS D1.1 and D1.6
Must bring your own welding hood and steel-toed boots
Organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks
