Case Value Stream Operations
team. This position will support
Propulsion Systems Divisions
at our
Clearfield Freeport Center , with the anticipation of transferring to our
Copper Crossing Value Stream
location in
Salt Lake City
after training. Role Description & Responsibilities: The primary assignment for this position is in Case Prep, performing hands-on activities associated with the preparation of rocket motor chambers and components, mold assembly, powder embedment, chamber handling, and shipping processes. You will work as a team to positively influence and enhance the safety, quality, cost, and schedule of our program. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Include: Learn and demonstrate the skills to safely and efficiently perform chamber preparation operations. Safely operate equipment associated with the Case Prep operations. Read, interpret, and accurately follow procedures, standard work instructions, engineering drawings, and specifications. Certify to and sustain all Quality Manufacturing-to-Inspect (MTI) requirements. Complete and sustain sound proficiencies in all required training. Safely perform chamber moves with cranes, hand pallet jacks, and other powered equipment. Operate all hand tools, powered tools, tooling, powered equipment, lifting equipment, and overhead cranes. Demonstrate understanding and ability to safely perform spotting operations. Physically lift objects up to 50 pounds. Other duties as assigned by the leadership team. Basic Qualifications: This position can be filled at either a level 3 or level 4. Experience Requirements for a Level 3: High School Diploma or GED 4 years of related work experience Physical ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds Experience Requirements for a Level 4: High School Diploma or GED 6 years of related work experience Physical ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds Position Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision coverage 401k Educational Assistance Life Insurance Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions Paid Time Off Health & Wellness Resources Employee Discounts Salary Range:
$51,200 - $85,400 Salary Range 2:
$60,800 - $101,400 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
