Our factory outside Nashville TN, is staffed by passionate, innovative, and hardworking experts dedicated to transforming how healthcare is delivered. At Odulair, you'll dive into a variety of projects, collaborate with some of the best minds in the industry, and gain hands-on experience that pushes the boundaries of what mobile healthcare can achieve. Yes, you’ll learn from us, but we expect to learn from you too! This position reports to the Head of Engineering or their designee and is located in the Nashville TN area. Collaborates in the planning and strategy of mobile clinic design and deployment. Key Responsibilities: Promote teamwork and effective communication to strengthen working relationships across all departments. Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for mobile clinics, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance with healthcare standards. Continuously seek improvements in system design focusing on performance, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability. Contribute to workload planning for the engineering team, ensuring timely delivery of projects. Collaborate with electrical and construction teams to integrate systems seamlessly. Perform research and development to explore new technologies and materials for mobile clinics. Follow all safety regulations and standards in all design and manufacturing activities. Other duties as assigned by the Head of Engineering or their designee. Education and Work Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required. Master’s degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the medical or automotive industry. Proven experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and FEA tools. Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and structural design for mobile environments. Ability to make quick, informed decisions based on data and analysis. A can-do, positive approach and a willingness to help others is essential. Work well in a team environment, collaborating with personnel at all levels. Equipment and Applications: Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Google Workspace. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and tools. Work Environment Physical Demands: Ability to work in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment while maintaining a methodical approach. May require lifting up to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting, and manual dexterity. Work environment includes machinery, construction zones, and exposure to various materials. Compliance with Odulair's Health and Safety Policy and all relevant safety regulations is mandatory.
