Job Overview HBS Solutions Inc. is growing fast and we’re looking for a highly skilled Lead HVAC Technician to join our expanding Field Operations team. In this leadership role, you’ll manage commercial HVAC installation projects from the frontlines: guiding crews, ensuring top‑quality installations, and rolling up your sleeves to lead by example.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and perform HVAC system installations at commercial sites
Supervise and mentor HVAC technicians and apprentices
Assign tasks and oversee daily/weekly work plans
Install and commission:
Rooftop Units (RTUs)
Split Systems & Heat Pumps
VRF/VRV Systems
Ductwork, Air Handlers, and Controls
Troubleshoot installation issues and coordinate with project teams
Ensure jobsite safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
Track project progress, labor, and materials
Train team members on best practices and safety procedures
Qualifications
5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience (2+ years in a leadership role preferred)
Hands‑on experience installing RTUs, split systems, VRF/VRV, ductwork, and piping
Ability to lead teams and self‑perform installations
EPA Universal Certification (required)
Journeyman or Master HVAC license (preferred) or willingness to obtain
Strong blueprint reading and plan interpretation skills
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership abilities
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
