We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Level 3 HVAC Installer to join our team. This position requires a technician with a proven track record in light commercial HVAC system installations and the ability to work independently, lead projects, and mentor junior team members. Key Responsibilities:
Perform efficient installation of light commercial HVAC systems (RTUs, split systems, package units, Bard units, etc.)
Identify and resolve system design issues in the field
Lead evacuation and start-up procedures with OEM compliance
Signal crane operations safely during equipment placement
Manage project resources and timelines effectively
Install and troubleshoot low voltage (24V) and high voltage (208V–480V) systems
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with RTUs, Bard units, and split/package systems
Apply PT chart and SC/SH (subcool/superheat) knowledge to system diagnostics
Interpret and apply basic controls, estimating, and code knowledge
Size and route HVAC piping accurately based on project needs
Mentor and train Level 1 and Level 2 HVAC Technicians

Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 4–7 years of HVAC installation experience
Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
Strong understanding of HVAC pipe sizing, routing, and system design fundamentals
Ability to lead and train junior technicians in installation and troubleshooting best practices
Comfortable reading and interpreting technical diagrams, schematics Clean Driving Record and the ability to drive a company vehicle.
Ability to pass fit-for-duty evaluations for contract requirements.
Ability to pass pre-hire drug screening and maintain random drug screening per company policy
Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC components, including large compressors, motors, economizers, and VAV systems.
Ability to work independently and manage service calls with minimal supervision.
Must be able to lift heavy equipment (up to 80 lbs) and work in a variety of physical conditions (e.g., climbing ladders, working in confined spaces).
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills, both with customers and team members.
