Clinic hours Monday-Friday 7am-7pm The community you’ll be caring for:
Ortho Physical Therapy Patients The role you’ll contribute: When you join our team of over 40 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew. As a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting you will provide professional direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient rehabilitation settings. Utilizes process improvement in achieving the goals of the Sports Med and Rehab Department. The value you’ll bring to the team: Engages in promoting evidence-based standards of care and lifelong learning through autonomous and collaborative participation in research, journal club/reviews, teaching/mentoring/CI, and/or clinical practice education within a peer group Regularly participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships with a minimum of 2 contacts per month. Determines Physical Therapy Diagnosis and establishes plan of care, make recommendations for referral if treatment needed outside of scope of Physical Therapist practice. Eligible to perform Direct Access Physical Therapy in OP setting, as indicated per state Physical Therapy practice act. Designs and implements a treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards and recommended techniques and modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient’s needs. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: Licensed in the State of Florida as a Physical Therapist, or Temporary State of Florida permit as Physical Therapist Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Preferred qualifications: Previous experience or clinical rotations in an outpatient setting Pay range- The anticipated minimum pay rate for this position is $35/ hour
