Maintenance Cooker Mechanic
role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical devices to identify issues. Dismantle, repair, and replace defective parts and components. Examine machinery for imperfections, wear, and necessary adjustments. Install functional and structural parts in machinery. Lubricate, clean, and maintain equipment for safe and efficient performance. Conduct performance tests on repaired devices to verify operation. Operate machine tools such as lathes, drill presses, and grinders for fabrication and repairs. Initiate requisitions for replacement parts and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment as needed. Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and maintain compliance with safety standards. Operate shop equipment including band saws, drill presses, and lathes. Adhere to company safety protocols and Food Safety Initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred. 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. Proficiency with mechanical systems, tools, and repair techniques. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing conditions and unexpected challenges. What We Offer:
