Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Maintenance Specialist role in Vancouver. Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, utilities, and facility systems to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications to support production goals. Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repair history. Collaborate with production staff to quickly address equipment issues and optimize performance. Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending and implementing maintenance process improvements. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and assist in minimizing production disruptions. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field is preferred. 2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems is highly desirable. Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required. What We Offer
