Position Overview : Final Touch Floors, LLC is looking to hire an Installation Field Manager (IFM). The IFM is responsible for project management coordination and oversight of job-site installations, interacting with clients, property managers, and installers. Responsibilities
Project Manage large and/or specific jobs Build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients, installers, and fellow team members Manage installation scheduling, quality standards, adherence to scope, change order procedures Maintain subcontractor provider records, complete change orders, and update jobs in RFMS (ERP system) Perform quality checks on installations Supervise other employees as assigned Engage in sales activities as assigned Assist Sales in measurement and scope of work for new jobs Meet with potential and/or existing customers on new work projects Experience / Qualifications
5-7 years experience in the flooring business Actual installation experience Knowledge of a variety of flooring materials (carpet, LVT/LVP, ceramic, woods, engineered products, etc.) Well versed in Manufacturer product knowledge, specifically Mohawk & Shaw Experience working with a variety of subcontracted installers Experience measuring and costing jobs Experience with a variety of floor prep situations Supervisory experience to mentor employees, provide performance feedback, and upskill opportunities that benefit the employee and the team Education / Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business management a plus Experience with flooring company specific software (RFMS software a plus) Computer savvy, solid experience with Google Apps, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Positive mindset with strong interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, vendors and team members Customer service-focused Excellent organization and time management skills Excellent problem-solving skills to address any installation challenges that may arise Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy and precision in installations High degree of initiative, self-starter nature Able to work independently without supervision collaboratively within a team Must have a valid driver's license and DMV record to meet insurance carrier requirements for operating a company vehicle Note

In person Combination of in person at office and job site visits within the Greater Metro Detroit area.
