Position Overview A physical therapist will examine a patient and create a recovery plan. The role focuses on treatments that reduce the need for surgery and the use of prescription drugs. The therapist uses a combination of exercises, stretches, hands‑on techniques, and equipment to restore function or relieve pain.
Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to promote healing.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Provide patient education on injury prevention, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of current clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
Wyoming state healthcare provider license or willingness to obtain one.
Proficiency in patient assessment, therapeutic modalities, and documentation.
Certifications Needed
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
