Lead Behavioral Health Technician

We are currently seeking a Lead Behavioral Health Technician to support our clients and staff. The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is an integral part of our clients’ well-being and our daily operations. The BHT is the frontline support to our clients, going through every motion of the day with our clients. Deliverables/Principal Results Expected: Supervises Behavioral Health Technicians and provides feedback on their performance. Orients and trains new staff to unit and program. Assists with interviewing and hiring BHTs. Communicates with staff either verbally or in written communication logs. Assists with employee disciplinary actions. Develops employee schedule. Conducts employee performance evaluations. Assists with interventions with clients. Coordinates activities including lectures, recreation and meetings with BHTs. Follows objectives of treatment plans. Maintains a safe, orderly and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention. Education, Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health experience. Valid Driver’s License.
