Overview We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, forward‑thinking full‑time hybrid Physical Therapist to treat both pelvic and orthopedic patients. Responsibilities
Evaluate patients’ needs for pelvic or orthopedic physical therapy and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Provide care based on physician care plans, agency policies and professional standards of care.
Manage caseload including pre‑natal and post‑partum diagnoses, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, colorectal conditions, pelvic organ prolapse and diastasis recti.
Prevent and treat functional disorders of the abdominal, pelvic and low back region.
Deliver high‑quality patient treatment, including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, patient/family education and safety procedures.
Operate patient‑care equipment, direct and assist mobility and strengthening exercises, muscle re‑education and functional training.
Instruct family members, PTAs, home‑health aides and other caregivers in appropriate physical‑therapy techniques.
Qualifications
NY Licensed Physical Therapist.
Passion for women’s and men’s pelvic health.
Minimum 1–2 years in pelvic floor rehabilitation and 2 years in an outpatient setting.
Women’s Health Certification a plus; minimum Pelvic Floor 1 through APTA or H&W, but willing to train right candidate.
Strong manual skills required – 1 year experience.
Mandatory First Aid, AED, & CPR certifications.
