PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking to contract with a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) to support a federally funded program serving first responders and emergency personnel at Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Position Summary The Licensed Mental Health Professional will provide mental health services and serve as a key resource for supporting the wellbeing of first responders, law enforcement rangers, firefighters, dispatchers, and related personnel. Services will include critical incident response, behavioral health checkups, staff education and training, and clinical referrals to ensure the overall resilience and health of the workforce. Key Responsibilities Critical Incident Response Provide onsite crisis intervention and psychological first aid within 24 hours of major incidents (e.g., drownings, fatalities, fires, medical events).

Facilitate group or individual debriefings following traumatic events.

Deliver follow-up summaries and reports to leadership.

Behavioral Health Checkups Conduct quarterly confidential checkups for staff.

Utilize evidence-based screening tools and provide referrals when clinically appropriate.

Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards.

Employee Education & Training Deliver six annual training sessions (60–90 minutes) on topics such as suicide prevention, stress management, resilience, and effective communication.

Develop training materials, handouts, and presentations tailored to first responder needs.

Clinical Referrals Assess clinical needs and make referrals to specialized or inpatient care when required.

Coordinate with external providers and document referral outcomes.

Meetings & Engagement Attend scheduled staff or division-wide meetings to support wellness initiatives.

Serve as the subject matter expert in mental health and staff wellness.

Qualifications Active licensure in

Nevada and Arizona

as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)

Minimum 5 years of experience providing mental health services in first responder, trauma, crisis, or high-stress environments.

Training or certification in

Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM)

or crisis response strongly preferred.

Demonstrated experience in behavioral health training and education for adult learners.

Strong knowledge of confidentiality requirements and HIPAA compliance.

Ability to pass federal background check and credentialing process.

Work Environment Services delivered primarily on-site at facilities in Nevada and Arizona.

On-call responsibilities for critical incident response.

Travel within the region may be required.

Education Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required.

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Certifications Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) – preferred

CPR/First Aid – preferred

Additional relevant certifications – a plus
