Woonsocket, RI Peer Recovery Specialist IHH CCBHC (Full Time) Community Care Alliance is proud to offer an array of services supporting individuals who are homeless/unstably housed and coping with mental health and substance use challenges. Many of these services are part of Serenity, a peer-run recovery center, supporting individuals in all stages of recovery. We are searching for a Peer Recovery Specialist to support this team. If you thrive in an environment where every day offers a unique new challenge, our team is for you. Must be certified or willing to work towards certification. Support clients to build recovery capital, individually and in groups. Create opportunities to engage in substance-free social activities. Connect clients to Detox and higher levels of care. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate an understanding of mental health and substance use issues. Able to develop treatment plans and use an EHR. Benefits
