ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECU Health Medical Center, is a 142-bed full-service hospital located in Washington. It has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center and offers a range of services including a 16-bed emergency department, the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, general medical and surgical services, a women’s birthing center, rehabilitation services and outpatient clinics. Position Summary: Responsible for administering diagnostic and habilitative/rehabilitative services to patients referred for services and maintaining records pertinent to such services. Observes, evaluates and documents diagnostic and treatment effects. Consults with supervisor on all pertinent matters for program and professional development (e.g., research projects, expansion of programs, record keeping, policies and procedures, etc.). Will also be involved in team dynamics and participate in interdisciplinary activities when appropriate. Responsibilities

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Master’s degree in Communication Science and Disorders. Current Speech Language Pathology License issued by NC Board of Examiners for Speech-L Language Pathologists and Audiologists (NCBESLPA). Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) awarded by ASHA, or must be obtained within one year of hire. Progressive and dynamic knowledge of Speech Language Pathology; willingness to participate in continuing education and training; ability to work with other healthcare professionals to ensure cooperative efforts. Other Information
Hybrid role. PRN coverage during Monday–Friday in acute/outpatient settings, as well as assistance during weekend acute rotations. General Statement
