Location: 2400 South Avenue A, Yuma, AZ 85364, United States Job ID: 11510 Work Status: Regular Full Time | 72.00 Hours Every Two Weeks Shift: Days Salary: Min $40.82, Mid $51.03, Max $61.23 per hour. This range reflects the base hiring salary range offered and may vary by skills and experience. The listed salary is one component of the total rewards/compensation package. Responsibilities
Conduct diagnostic imaging studies in obstetric ultrasound across all trimesters, including first trimester dating and early anatomic assessments, detailed second and third trimester assessments, fetal echocardiography, growth assessments, Doppler studies, and transvaginal ultrasound. Work directly and exclusively with perinatologists in a high quality independent fetal imaging center to provide excellent ultrasound service while maintaining and enhancing skills; pursue additional certifications if needed. Follow AIUM standards and adhere to established protocols. Check equipment and accessories for proper function and notify appropriate personnel for repairs. Perform duties in the best interest of patients, personnel, and the facility; participate in modality-specific QA/QC and ensure regulatory compliance. Evaluate patient history and symptoms for clinical criteria; communicate clearly and professionally with patients and families about the tests to be performed; assess patient tolerance. Demonstrate and maintain current knowledge, continued education, and skills to provide appropriate care for newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult, and geriatric patients as applicable to the department. Assist the physician as needed in additional imaging or biopsy procedures; complete exam charges and image documentation; forward to radiologist in a timely manner. Maintain proficiency in MFM Ultrasound Technician III competencies and apply technical knowledge to perform procedures accurately and timely. Other duties as assigned. Experience and Education
Associates Degree in Ultrasound Technology or graduate of an accredited Sonography Program required. HS Diploma/GED Current American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) registration. BLS certification accredited by the American Heart Association. Proficiency in MFM Ultrasound Technician III required competencies. Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) years’ experience in ultrasound preferred. Nuchal Translucency (NT) Certification preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Medical terminology, basic anatomy and physiology knowledge. Experience with comprehensive obstetric ultrasound across all trimesters, including dating, growth, Doppler studies, and fetal echocardiography. Experience with transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound and Doppler assessments; ability to perform genetic/advanced imaging and post-processing as warranted.
