Base pay range
$55,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr
This position is for our women's treatment center in Columbus, Ohio.
Job Description
Cairn Recovery Resources provides individual, outpatient, intensive outpatient, case management and temporary housing for substance abuse treatment needs.
Job Summary – This position provides clinical counseling services to adults with identified substance use disorders, and fulfills the role of clinical counselor, completing assigned responsibilities delegated by the agency's clinical director.
Counselor Duties
Maintaining good working relationships with support networks, government resources, community resources, and community partners in establishing relationships and referrals
Maintain a caseload for individual clients
Complete clinical documentation; treatment plans and diagnostic assessments
Ensure all documentation is up to date
Work with clinical director on delegation of answering staff and client questions
Reports to Clinical Director and executive team
Assists in conducting tours for community partners and referrals
Becomes the model clinician and brand ambassador
Attends court treatment meetings if needed and complies with judicial requirements in advocacy for clients
Counselor Requirements and Qualifications
Possesses superb written and spoken communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with clients, colleagues, and community resources
Excellent time management skills; organized and able to prioritize
Comfortable in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
Able to organize and manage large amounts of files, schedules, dates, and information
Calm and cool-headed with a positive attitude
Self-directed and self-motivated
Comfortable with building personal relationships and dedicated to helping others
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, LCDCII, LCDCII or LICDC
Cairn is certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (for Mental Health & Substance Abuse).
