Overview
MD or MD/PhD, board certified or board eligible in Infectious Diseases with additional fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Infectious Diseases, to serve at the Medical University Hospital main campus. Faculty member will be appointed at 1.0 FTE and provide clinical and educational activities including rounding on the inpatient teaching service, ambulatory care, and attendance at educational conferences. This faculty member will direct the activities associated with the Orthopedic Infectious Diseases clinical service. Student, resident and fellow education and interaction is expected. Responsibilities
Provide clinical care on the inpatient teaching service and ambulatory clinics. Attend and contribute to educational conferences. Direct and coordinate activities of the Orthopedic Infectious Diseases clinical service. Engage in education and supervision of medical students, residents and fellows. Qualifications
MD or MD/PhD degree. Board certified or board eligible in Infectious Diseases. Additional fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Infectious Diseases. Entity
